Galileo Galilei Convicted of intellect

Galileo Galilei intellect Convicted On February 15, 1564 Galileo was born in Pisa, Italy as the son of Vincenzo Galilei, a music and math are poor. His father hoped someday to become a doctor because of Galileo's salary was so large, tens of times the salary of a mathematician. Therefore, at the age of 17 he entered the University of Pisa Department of Medicine. However, he eventually tired of Medicine study. He studied Mathematics at the palace of a teacher named Ostillo Ricci Tuscana. Then, at age 21 he quit school due to lack of funds. He returned to Florence and began his career as an author. His work on the hydrostatic balance (1586) and the center of gravity on the object (1589) made it so famous throughout Italy. Finally, he was appointed a lecturer at the University of Pisa. Then, he became professor of Mathematics at the University of Padua in 1592. Even so, life remain poor, even he can not marry. However, he had two daughters and a son relationship with Marina Gamba result, his own aides. In 1608 Hans Lippershey, a Dutch optics, discovered the telescope, but not willing to accept his patent. So, then Galileo was trying to make a simple telescope, and he managed to create a telescope with 33 times magnification capabilities. With this telescope he discovered Saturn's rings, Jupiter's four moons, the mountains and craters on the moon so that he became so famous throughout the world until now. He also found that the galaxy is actually a star cluster whose number of millions. He also experimented with dropping objects of different size and weight of the tower of Pisa in the presence of students and scientists. He did it to prove that the theory of Aristotle who said that heavy objects will fall to the earth than the first light objects is the wrong theory. The experimental results also indicate that it is Aristotle's theory is wrong. In addition, by using a telescope, he also managed to prove that the theory of Aristotle and Ptolemy of the celestial bodies are not true. Aristotle thought that the flat surface of the moon and emit light. Ptolemy says that the earth does not move, the sun and stars moving around the earth bintanglah. When the religious leaders and university lecturers in all of Italy considers the teachings of Aristotle and Ptolemy was the most correct doctrine. Because, they misinterpret the artifacts piece of verse in the Bible. Meanwhile, Galileo still maintaining his theory and the theory of Copernicus that the sun is the center of the solar system. As a result, he was arrested by religious leaders, tried and sentenced under house arrest. Galileo died at the age of 78 at Arcetri on January 8, 1642 because of fever. However, although such theories are still used throughout the world until now. He was the first in the world that uses mathematical calculations to analyze the mechanics. He is also the first to connect the physics and astronomy by mathematics rather than with traditional philosophy. He is the man who discovered the law of falling bodies, the legal pendulum, the law of motion is then formulated by Newton. He is also the inventor of the thermometer, the telescope (telescope), and the mathematical theory of parabolic motion.
