Enyalios

Enyalios ( Greek : Ἐνυάλιος ) in Greek mythology in general is a nickname for Ares , god of war, but on the Mikene Enyalios referred to as the god of its own. In Linear B from Knossos sheet KN V 52, the name E-nu-wa-ri-jo refers Enyalios. [1]

Enyalios called nine times in the Iliad . As Homer calls Ares 'Enyalios' in Iliad book xx. Poet Alkman sometimes called Ares as Enyalios and sometimes call Enyalios as a separate deity, calling it a child of Ares and Enyo or of Kronos and Rhea . [2]
