Guinness World Records: The Video Game is a video game based on the best-selling Guinness World Records series of books with world records such as Sheep Shearing, Phone Book tearing, Airplane eating and growing the worlds longest fingernails. The game was released on November 7, 2008 in Europe and November 11, 2008 in North America.
Guinness World Records: The Video Game contains 36 mini-games all based on real world record attempts.
The game is about stamina and strength, and the main goal to create a new record of best time or score.[1]
Guinness World Records: The Video Game was available for the Nintendo DS and Wii, then was later released for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Travellers Tales, together with TT Games Publishing, were bought by Warner Brothers in November 2007.[2] Also based in Knutsford, Travellers Tales were responsible for the hugely successful Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman video games.
TT Games Publishing, as the name suggests, is the publishing arm of the TT Games Group. Based in Burnham, Slough, TT Games has two offices. One out of which the marketing and production takes place, known as “The Cottage” and another where the QA and testing of all the games in development takes place.
